Kamana Mathur practiced Immigration and Employment Discrimination Law for several years in the Washington, D.C. area prior to joining the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. She served as a Consular Officer at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India, where she conducted visa interviews and was responsible for the issuance of immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

Having lived, traveled, and worked throughout the world, Ms. Mathur has an extensive network of contacts in the business and academic communities, at U.S. Embassies, and within government entities. With her extensive experience both in private practice and with the Federal Government, Ms. Mathur understands not only how to get USCIS approval for your visa, but also what it takes to get the visa issued at Embassies and Consulates overseas – a critical aspect of immigration to the United States.
