E1 Treaty Trader

A treaty trader (E-1) visa offers temporary admission to the United States to nationals of treaty nations (a treaty nation is a country with which the U.S. has a qualifying Treaty of Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation or its equivalent) who seek admission to carry on international trade either as an individual or as an employee of an organization engaged in trade, and intends to depart from the U.S. upon termination of E-1 status.
