Employment Based Visas

Family Based Visas

Family unification related immigration to the U.S. is based on a family relationship with a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. We represent our clients in obtaining green cards for spouses, fiancés, parents, children, and brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens or permanent residents and assist with the naturalization and citizenship process. Asylum

Those who have suffered violence or persecution in their home country because of race, religion, nationality, or political beliefs have the right to apply for asylum in the United States. If asylum is granted, you will be able to stay in America for an indefinite period and later apply for a permanent visa for yourself and your family members. Victims of human trafficking and domestic violence who are in the United States may also be eligible for visas under the provisions of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act (VTVPA). Deportation/Removal

If you are at risk of deportation or have been ordered to be deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) then please contact us and we will work hard on your behalf to seek legal relief, by requesting a stay of deportation, voluntary departure, and other relief. Nationality-Based Employment Discrimination

Treaty Trader and Investor Visas

Investors and Entrepreneurs may be eligible for a an E-1Treaty Trader, E-2 Treaty Investor, or EB-5 Immigrant Entrepreneur Visa. E-1 and E-2 Visas offer temporary admission to individuals (from countries with which the U.S. has a "Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation" treaty) wishing to invest in a commercial enterprise in the U.S. or enter into a trading relationship. Individuals/companies who intend to undertake a significant amount of trade with the US can qualify for and E1 Treaty Trader visa. The volume of such trade must be sufficient to justify the trader or his/her employee(s) being in the United States to manage the trade, and must constitute the majority of the trader's international trade (i.e. at least 50% of the Trader's exports/imports must be to/from the USA). There is no set minimum level of trade which is considered sufficient, but the lower the volume of trade the less likely one is to qualify as a Treaty Trader. E-2 Visa applicants must make a significant investment in a for profit enterprise in the U.S. There is no set minimum level of investment. The level of investment must be sufficient to justify the treaty national (or his/her employee's) presence in the U.S.

The EB-5 visa category offers quick path to permanent residence (Green Card) to those able to make a substantial investment in an enterprise in the U.S., creating at least 10 new jobs. For more information, see the Investor Visas page
